As you can see this “Mohawk” Paratrooper belongs to the 101st. “Screamin’ Eagles” Division (the only unit that had some guys adopt the Mohican hair style). Grateful for the welcome, this GI is offering some chocolate from his ‘C’ Rations to the young girl ... probably the first time she has ever tasted “Real American Chocolate”!
