RTA109 Joseph Kerr, New Orleans Greys

King & Country

This Louisiana man was one of just 23 men from this volunteer militia unit that fought and died at the Alamo on that fateful morning of March 6, 1836. He still wears his grey tunic although has adopted a more practical broad-brimmed straw hat. Here he moves forward while reaching for a fresh cartridge for his musket
